Black bronze bell used in zen temples with leaf and cushion.

Keizu or daitokuji is the name given to this traditional bell in Buddhist temples, where it accompanies the recitation of sutras and other ceremonies. - A conscious blow with a mallet is given on the side to obtain a clear and deep sound. - Usually large in size, the penetrating sound of the keizu bell fills the meditation halls, inviting serenity of mind and harmony among the members of the group. - Bell made of bronze, copper alloy, zinc and silica. Made in Japan.

"When I listen to the sound of the bell, I feel that my afflictions begin to dissolve, my mind calms down, my body relaxes. A smile appears on my lips. As I follow the sound of the bell, my breath takes me back to the safe island of mindfulness." Thich Nhat Hanh
